Heads Up! Black America's Allies Just Got This BRUTAL Reality Check? | TIM BLACK TV
June 25, 2026
The conversation goes something like this: when someone in our community gets disrespected by an immigrant, by a Latino neighbor, by a Continental African transplant, by any melanated voice we've been told is automatically on our side we're supposed to look past it. Brush it off. Blame white supremacy. Stay focused on "the real enemy."
Talib Kweli said it out loud this week. He's not the only one. He's just the latest.
But the WolfPack has been saying something different. We've been saying: solidarity is a two-way street, and we're not the only ones who have to walk it. Allyship isn't a melanin test. It's a behavior test. And the list of people we've been told are "with us" by Hollywood, by the Democratic Party, by the pan-African talking-head class needs a hard, honest audit.
This is about clarity.
